Memberships
Becoming a member not only helps further the aims of the Society but entitles members to the following benefits:-
- Four quarterly issues of the Bulletin,
- A quarterly newsletter,
- Free access to lectures,
- Access to the Society’s Archive,
- Membership of the Local History and Family History discussion groups,
- Access to all archive material on the website.
Family membership for UK residents is £25 per annum. For overseas members it is £42; European membership is £32; this is due to the cost of international mailing of the Bulletin. However, for members who receive the Bulletin by email the membership subscription is £15. Student email membership is free – to enroll please send us an email with a completed membership form.
The membership fee only covers the running costs of the Society, any publication or project work has to be funded separately. Donations are always welcome and help fund new projects, the archives and and special events.
