THE FRIENDS OF SADDLEWORTH MUSEUM

Become involved with the life of Uppermill and join the Friends of Saddleworth Museum who support the work of the Museum and Gallery. 

Positive benefits exist in being a Friend of the Museum - Free admission to the Museum and Gallery at anytime, 10% discount on any purchases in the Museum Shop, regular newsletters giving information about events and exhibitions at the Museum. Meeting a friendly group who are all interested in preserving the heritage of Saddleworth. Invitations to social events for Friends and Volunteers of the Museum.

Tuesdays 9.30 am-12.30 pm 
This group meets every Tuesday in the Gallery and welcomes new members. Annual £10.00 and £2.50 per week

IN YOUR PRAM
This new exhibition of photographs. quotations and anecdotes show memories of pushing prams or even being pushed in a pram.
 
THE DELPH DONKEY
A Local railway  

AMMON WRIGLEY 60 years since the death of Ammon Wrigley and this exhibition looks at his life and displays many items contained in the Museum's collection.
 
SADDLEWORTH'S THE STAR
What other films apart from Yanks have been filmed in the Saddleworth area. Brassed Off for one but what is the connection between Brief Encounter and Oldham ?
